Well, here I am. Writing my first ever blog. I have taken inspiration from a dear friend of mine Natalie Trew - her blog http://mypartyof5.com/ is a fantastic read, so head on over to have a look.
So where to start.
My Name is Michelle, I am 31 years old from Brisbane, QLD Australia. I have been happily married for nearly 8 years now and I am a Mother of 3 beautiful children. 2 boys and a girl. I have been blessed with 3 healthy, happy and fun loving children. They make every day worth waking up for. I honestly don't know how I lived with out them!
I am very sporty, I love exercise, sports and getting the family outdoors. I love to run (another credit to Nat!) workout and play Netball. I need these things in my life to maintain that happy balance.
Even before I had my kids, I was very much into arty, crafty, creative things. And since having the kids I have become even more so involved in these types of activities. I guess you could call me bored. I love to try new things. Constantly! Whether it be making cakes, sewing, making things, painting, face painting, makeup, hair, designing, renovating, you name it I will give it a go.
So what I am hoping to achieve with this blog is to let you in on a bit of my life and hopefully inspire you to give it a go. Everything is possible. I have made things that I never thought I would, as well as making a bit of pocket money along the way.
My favourite thing to do at the moment is Party Planning. I have 2 of my children's birthdays coming up and I can't wait to share with you what I have done. The first one is for my son who is turning 7, he has chosen the theme skateboard party - so stay tuned for some awesome, fun and exciting ideas for a skateboard party. Including games, food ideas, decorating.
The next party I will be doing is my daughters 4th birthday, and she has chosen a Mermaid Party. She was torn between La La Loopsy and Mermaid, in the end the mermaid won. This party will include me making Mermaid Tails, a Pin the starfish on the mermaid game and make your own colouring in pages.
I look forward to starting this journey with all of you. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
